It’s always been a dream of mine to have a space where people can come and share their music and art while being surrounded by crystals. Having a permanent store where there’s a live playing show during business hours would be super dope, but I think the more practical idea would be to have an event where all are together.
There’s a group here in town in Chico CA that have done exactly that. Recently we were invited to Soul Sessions at the Museum of Northern California Art (MONCA). This event is thrown by Chico Sessions and they’re incorporating art, handmade jewelry, music, fashion, and crystals all under one roof. We’re super excited and humbled to be a part of this intimate event! Earlier in the year we were invited to Prairie Sessions which was an amazing shindig as well.
Lauren, one of the organizers of Chico Sessions, is a very creative entrepreneur whose events have brought the community together. She also makes jewelry and designs clothing on top of organizing these sessions that we LOVE being a part of! You can check some of her creations out on Instagram @billysky.
On December 6, 2019 at MONCA you can see her creations and other artists along with our crystals and gems from all over the globe. The 70's themed event will be held from 6-9pm. There will be multiple vendors to get some holiday gifts from and also a fashion show sporting funk vintage 70's threads throughout the night. We’d love to see any locals come through and show support.
