Quartz is part of the silica family of minerals and represents some of the most abundant minerals on earth. Rarer are yellow-golden citrine specimens. The color of the mineral is due to iron impurities of the fluid during crystallization.
This piece of citrine is so neat, because it is natural citrine. Meaning, it was not heat treated to get its beautiful golden color. There is a lot of heat-treated citrine out there that has a bright orange color to it. But I think natural citrine is so much more beautiful!
Citrine is a joyful stone with bright energy which lights up many aspects of lives of those who work with it. It has energies of good fortune and good luck, though these may appear in unexpected ways.
