Malachite is a copper mineral that is best known for its rich green color and banded crystal formations. Formed in copper deposits, it is often found with other minerals such as Azurite and Chrysocolla. Most of the malachite in the world comes from the Congo. Something to be aware of when handling malachite, is it releases toxic fumes when moist, so the bathroom is not a good place to keep it.
Another thing to keep in mind, is that it should never be used to make crystal elixirs or crystal water to be ingested! Don't be alarmed, this is not intended to scare you but to educate you! Malachite is totally safe to be used in many ways, with the exception of the two examples mentioned above.
This Malachite pyramid displays the beauty of balance as well as fascination. I love adding new specimens to my growing collection that I keep around the home. This pyramid looks beautiful on a bookshelf or on a nightstand. Its swirling colors consist of rich green hues and each face of this pyramid is unique and different from one another.
