The form of this Mangrove Lobster Fossil is in really good condition. It is a wonderful addition to a geologist’s growing collection and also helpful to have in the classroom for educational purposes. Mangrove Lobster Fossils are believed to help bring regeneration to the body, mind, and spirit.
This Mangrove Lobster Fossil is straight from Australia and this species was formed after being buried in calcium rich muds during the late Holocene. The exoskeleton has been replaced by calcium carbonate, magnesium, strontium, and iron. Heavy cyclonic seas occasionally wash the fossils out of the containing beds, onto mud flats and beach areas.
