Geodes are geological secondary structures which occur in certain sedimentary and volcanic rocks. They are themselves of sedimentary origin formed by chemical precipitation. Geodes are essentially hollow, vaguely spheroid to oblate masses of mineral matter that form via either of two processes: by the filling of vesicles (gas bubbles) or the dissolution of igneous nodules or concentrations.
Inside of this cracked Quartz Geode is a treasure of little, sparkling crystals. This Quartz Geode may remind us that not everything is what it seems on the outside and that through the struggles of life, there is treasure and beauty to be found within. This Quartz Geode is surprisingly lighter than it looks. The crystals within are clear and overall the color tone of this beautiful geode is a soothing white shade.
