“But Does It Actually Work?”

I’ve been a part of the Geology Rocks and Mineral family for about 5 months now. In that time period, I’ve been asked a lot of crazy things. One of my personal favorites is, “Does crystal healing actually work?! My answer varies, but always consists of the same overall theme, “Yes, if you believe it does”. But before I get ahead of myself, let me explain in detail.

Basically, what I mean by that is: If you purchase a specimen with a specific intention then undoubtedly you’re putting that intention into action. By simply seeing the specimen and being reminded of your intentions, you are subconsciously putting those ideas out into the universe.

With that in mind, every specimen is claimed to have a “certain purpose or medicinal property”, and natural energy. However, there are no scientific studies on the efficacy of crystal healing.

There are a handful of studies that suggest crystal healing may induce a placebo effect. Those studies demonstrate how a placebo effect can alter how your mind and body

function. Now I know what you’re all thinking, crystal healing is a myth!! That’s not at all what I’m getting at. I’m a strong believer in crystal healing. To me it’s all comes down to what you believe. If you go into crystal healing with the mindset that it’s not going to

work, then it won’t be a surprise when it doesn’t work for you. If you start with an open

mind and positive intentions, then it’s no shocker that crystal healing is for you!

I cannot stress this next part enough!!! If you are seriously ill, DO NOT stop seeing a professional medical doctor.  Crystal healing should be used in conjunction with professional medical treatment.  While there may be no scientific evidence that crystal healing works, it definitely helps you focus your mind on a particular intention, outcome and/or perception, which can contribute to change in the physical form. You know what they say “A happy mind is a healthy mind and a healthy mind is good for the body!” You may have also heard the saying “You are what you eat.”  Well, are we not “what we think” as well?

Obviously everyone has their own views and opinions, so you shouldn’t just listen to what others tell you! Get out there and try crystal therapy for yourself, make your own opinions through experiences! So when someone asks you “does crystal healing actually work?!” You can answer honestly through your own adventures in crystal therapy!!
